About Roger Weavers

You may be wondering why you should be taking advice from me about ecommerce so it will help if I tell you a bit more about myself.  I have been working in the IT industry since 1983 but I have always been interested in computers and electronics, I think one of my first memories was taking apart a transistor radio to see how it worked.

My first job was a trainee telecommunications engineer in 1973 and from there I have had a number of computer engineering jobs for companies like Honeywell, BC Tel and Seeboard. 

I eventually set up my own computer consultancy company in 1997 with a client list varying from small companies and charities to large corporations, local government and banks.  Many of the contracts involved testing and evaluating software or designing bespoke systems. 

When I set up Sytec Computers Ltd only around 10% of my work involved the Internet, this has grown over the years and over the past year most of my income has come from the net.  My wife, Sandie, runs our overseas property business which generates 100% of its clients from the Internet.

So after designing web sites and making a living from the Internet and evaluating and implementing 100s of products for my clients I feel I can provide you with an excellent review service.
